South Walton renovating beach access points
WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Visit South Walton has already started renovating five beach access points and adding three new ones.
A new Dune Allen access point is underway now. New Miramar Beach and Seagrove Beach entrances will follow shortly behind.
Wall Street, Seabreeze, Gulf Lake Estates, Gardenia, and Azalea/ Camellia Street access point renovations will be complete by the end of April.
The Holly Street entrance is the first finished renovated access.
Visit South Walton Officials say renovating the beach access points brings them up to the high standard that visitors expect here.
“So in some cases, it’s gonna be new handrails, new decking, other areas you know we’ve got rain runoff that we need to address and that’ll help keep the beach just a more enjoyable place to be," said Visit South Walton's Communication Director, David Demarest.
