Sarasota County commissioners to revisit plans on Manasota Key Beach renourishment project

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Sarasota County commissioners will revisit a planned beach renourishment project on Manasota Key on Tuesday.
The project is a joint effort between Sarasota and Charlotte Counties to add sand to the beaches.
Commissioners will consider adding an additional six properties to its portion of the project on the north side of Blind Pass Beach.
This will cost an additional $1.6 million.
